Hi,

I've been reading through the requirements for a pro spec car and I'm comfortable with what needs to be done to the car.

My question is really regarding the cage, I see fabricage are the cage of choice, however is a properly welded in cage made from the correct spec of T45 also an allowed option?

I have access to a fabricator who is more than capable of making/installing it as well as adding the relevant spreader plates.  Would a cage of this nature be fine? (Although it wouldn't be a typical DIY cage, I'm just cautious of spending all the time and money getting it installed if it isn't allowed)

Thanks

Gav

Thanks for the reply, I will ensure we take pictures during the build stage and I'll keep the sample of T45 to show correct wall thickness.
