Driver Profile

Mark Buckle

Website

I started my drifting career at the end of 2005 driving a Nissan Skyline R32 GTST fitted with an RB26.

I gained my D1 licence at Knockhill in Scotland 2006.

I then successfully competed in the EDC championship in 2007.

I qualified in the top 16 at every round of the championship.

This included a second place qualifying position at Knockhill, I then battled my way to the final to finish in second place.

I qualified in third place at the final round of the championship at North Weald.

I finished eleventh in the championship.

I also became involved with the Eurodrift championship by commentating. This evolved into me helping more and more with the running of events.

I have now become involved with forming the British drift championship.

I have taken the decision to put my efforts into the running of these events to help the sport of drifting.

This means I will not be competing in a series in 2008 but hope to attend one or two exhibition events through out the year.
