Kicking off the drift series for 2009

DriftingThe drift series for the UK's licensed amateur and pro-amateur drivers. Drifting has become very popular within Europe mainly due to the way the sport has been adopted by the film and games industry.

Japanese culture plays a large part in drifting, with the background of the sport stemming from the mountain roads of Japan and their highly tunable cars that are ideally suited. Although drifting is a highly competitive sport, the sense of camaraderie amongst drivers is legendary, it's what makes this motorsport a little different from the rest.

2008 was a fantastic year for BDC. A great crop of up and coming drivers along with the more experienced competitors made for an exciting championship.

BDC aims to promote the sport and the drivers to an ever wider audience. Venues have been specially selected to help generate the excitement and experience the thrill of drifting without compromising your visibility allowing you to get close to the action along with pit walk-throughs and meeting the drivers.

We hope you can join us for the 5 rounds we've planned for 2009, in the meantime, take a look around and feel free to contact us if you require any further information.
